  2. So, with Sikazwe's very good development (he is really liked by both FIFA and CAF) and the strong performances shown by Gassama in recent times, I think that for WC 2018 we have already two safe bets.
It is not difficult to think that both will be called for Russia 2018.
Perhaps, apart from them, there will be only another spot and many candidates will fight for that.
One year has still to pass before the final decisions, but this is what I can point out for now.

  4. Expected level from Sikazwe in a not too challenging final. Overall control without cards, good personality specially good verbal warning at about 62'. More a lenient style which certainly was adapted well to the atmosphere of the match. For me the 2-1 was regular but you can argue about that. Probably incorrect freekick (and YC) at 92' - but overall a very good impression left by the Zambian-Angolan-Kenyan-South African team!

PS, nice to see Bennett laughing with the coach at about 63' :-D

      Two issues:
      1) Deliberate handball in controlling the ball?
      2) Dangerous play against the opponent?

    2. Very difficult, but I can't detect a clear offence there.
The first CMR goal is also not clean with the arm in the defender's face, similar to the Chelsea goal yesterday.
